The most important things to know: Curaah is a booking platform, not a hospital. We help you book appointments — we are not responsible for the quality of medical care you receive. Always consult a qualified doctor for medical advice.
Section 01
What Curaah Is (and Is Not)
Curaah is a technology platform that connects patients with hospitals and clinics for OPD appointment booking, queue management, and health record coordination.
Curaah is:
- A platform for booking OPD appointments at registered hospitals
- A digital token and queue management system for hospitals
- A referral coordination system between hospitals
- A health appointment record for patients
Curaah is not:
- A hospital, clinic, or any kind of healthcare provider
- A medical advice service
- An emergency service — do not use Curaah in a medical emergency
- A replacement for professional medical consultation
- An insurance company or claim settlement service
In a medical emergency, call 112 (India emergency) or go directly to the nearest hospital emergency department. Do not use Curaah for emergencies.
Section 02
Who Can Use Curaah
You may use Curaah if:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You provide accurate information during registration
- You agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy
- You are using Curaah for legitimate healthcare coordination purposes
Parents and guardians may use Curaah to book appointments on behalf of minor children.
By doing so, they confirm they have the authority to share the child's information.
Curaah is currently available only for facilities within Punjab, India and surrounding areas.
Section 03
Patient Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must provide accurate name and phone number — inaccurate information may prevent hospital staff from identifying you at check-in
- One person, one account — creating multiple accounts is not permitted
- You must notify us immediately at curaahtech@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
Section 04
Appointment Booking
When you book an appointment through Curaah:
- The appointment is a request made to the hospital — Curaah facilitates the booking but the hospital is responsible for honoring it
- You must arrive at the hospital during or before your booked time slot — late arrival may result in your token being skipped
- OPD fees are paid directly to the hospital — Curaah does not collect any fees from patients
- Curaah is not responsible if a hospital changes doctor schedules, closes unexpectedly, or cannot honor your appointment for reasons beyond our control
- Always call the hospital directly to confirm before travelling a long distance for an appointment
- Appointments can be cancelled through your dashboard or by contacting hospital staff directly
Slot availability: Booking a slot does not guarantee that you will be seen at exactly that time. Hospital OPD schedules can vary. The token system gives you a fair queue position — actual waiting time depends on the hospital's patient flow.
Section 05
Token and Queue System
- Tokens are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis within your booked slot
- Token numbers reset every day — your token is valid only for the day it was issued
- Each OPD has its own separate token queue
- If you do not check in by scanning the QR code or through staff, you will not receive a token and may lose your place in the queue
- Curaah is not responsible for delays in the hospital's token calling process — queue management is performed by hospital staff
- Walk-in patients (without Curaah accounts) may be added to the same queue by hospital staff — this is by design to serve all patients fairly
Section 06
Referrals and Proxy Bookings
Referrals:
- Digital referrals are created by authorized hospital staff on your behalf
- Referrals include clinical notes written by the referring doctor — these notes become part of your Curaah health record
- Your verbal consent is required before a referral is created — hospital staff must confirm you agree
- Curaah does not verify the medical accuracy of referral notes — the referring doctor is responsible for their content
Proxy bookings:
- Proxy agents are authorized individuals at clinics and dispensaries who can book appointments on your behalf
- Proxy agents must obtain your verbal consent before making any booking
- Proxy bookings appear in your Curaah dashboard if you are a registered patient
- If you believe a proxy booking was made without your consent, contact us at curaahtech@gmail.com immediately
Section 07
Hospital Staff and Agents
Hospital staff and proxy agents who use Curaah agree to:
- Use Curaah only for legitimate patient care coordination purposes
- Obtain patient consent before creating referrals or proxy bookings
- Not share their staff login credentials with unauthorized persons
- Not access patient data beyond what is necessary for their role
- Accurately represent appointment and patient information — falsifying records is strictly prohibited
- Report any misuse of the system to curaahtech@gmail.com immediately
Hospital staff accounts are created by Curaah administrators. Unauthorized account creation
is not permitted. Hospitals are responsible for notifying Curaah when a staff member leaves
so their access can be revoked.
Section 08
Prohibited Uses
You must not use Curaah to:
- Create fake appointments or book slots with no intention of attending
- Impersonate another patient, doctor, or hospital staff member
- Access another patient's data without authorization
- Attempt to bypass the token system or gain an unfair queue position
- Submit false or misleading information in your profile, referrals, or appointment notes
- Use the platform for any commercial purpose not explicitly permitted
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Curaah platform
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from Curaah using automated tools
- Use Curaah to advertise or promote any products or services
- Violate any applicable Indian law including the IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, or any healthcare regulation

Section 09
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Curaah and its operators shall not be liable for:
- Any medical outcome, misdiagnosis, or treatment decision made by a hospital or doctor
- A hospital not honoring a booked appointment
- Loss or damage arising from system downtime, technical errors, or interruptions in service
- Inaccurate information provided by hospitals about their facilities, doctors, or availability
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform
- Actions taken by hospital staff or proxy agents using the platform
Curaah's total liability to any patient or user in connection with the platform shall not exceed
the amount paid by that user to Curaah in the twelve months preceding the claim (which for most
patients will be zero, as Curaah is free for patients).
Section 10
Medical Disclaimer
Curaah does not provide medical advice.
Nothing on the Curaah platform — including any AI assistant features, appointment recommendations, or OPD suggestions — constitutes medical advice. All health decisions should be made in consultation with a qualified, licensed medical professional.
Curaah is a booking and coordination tool. The clinical judgment, diagnosis, treatment, and care are entirely the responsibility of the hospital and doctor you consult.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, do not use Curaah. Call 112 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room immediately.
Section 11

By using Curaah, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data

You may terminate your account at any time by emailing curaahtech@gmail.com requesting account deletion. We will delete your data within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, misuse the platform, provide false information, or engage in any activity that harms other users or hospitals.
We may also suspend the platform temporarily for maintenance, upgrades, or in response to legal requirements. We will provide advance notice where possible.

shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Punjab, India.
Relevant Indian laws that apply to Curaah include:
- Information Technology Act, 2000
- Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- Indian Contract Act, 1872
Section 14
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as Curaah grows and new features are added. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last updated.
For significant changes that affect your rights, we will attempt to notify registered users by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
Continuing to use Curaah after terms are updated means you accept the new terms.
If you disagree with updated terms, you may request account deletion at any time.
